There were strange markings on the sidewalks at work today.
Circular lines, overlapping.
The patterns are obviously not natural. They take up the entire sidewalk in places.
Any theories?

I don’t know, but I especially love the pattern in the bottom photo!
Ok, stop doing this! It drives me nuts! I’m terrible at puzzles and riddles.
Looks to me like someone tried to sand the sidewalk in order to refinish it. That’s the answer. Right?
Jodi – I’m not going to say they “sanded it” – but it certainly looks like they used some sort of buffer on it to clean all the moss stains off of it. Our theory at work is that they did it to lure potential businesses into the empty building next door to us. They have not buffed or sanded the sidewalks in other building complexes – yet. Just ours.
Karyn – I liked the bottom photo the best, too. The pattern is so accidental. 🙂
